 Great Plush Cavalier King Charles Spaniel but…

I could not resist picking up this adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Signature Webkinz for myself (and I am an adult). It is realistic enough to fool my REAL cavaliers who really want to get their paws on it.
It is a very accurate representation of the breed. It gets the “blenheim” color right. It is properly “broken up” instead of being too solid like so many stuffed cavaliers. The expression is VERY much true to that “melting” expression to endearing to cavaliers, and the quality is evident when you hold it. The eyes and nose are well-made and the shape of the dog is true. It sits well (without flopping over) and stands pretty well, too.
HOWEVER…it was an EPIC fail that they got the name so WRONG! There is NO SUCH THING as a King Charles Cocker Spaniel! This is what is printed on the tag sewn to the plush toy and the paper tag. How did such an error get past quality control????
Anyway, it is a nice CAVALIER King Charles Spaniel…even though they left the Cavalier part out of the name. And no…this is not a cocker spaniel at all.
Still, if you are a cavalier fan, you will be pleased. Maybe not so much if you were trying to get a cocker.
