We had this set up for a 5 year olds birthday party. There were a total of nine kids ranging from the ages of 5-9. This thing held up perfectly and the kids had a blast. Set up was fairly easy and I did it myself. It took about an hour for the water to fill the pool but if you’re going to use the spray hose, don’t worry about filling the pool. The water spraying from the spray hose will take care of the water situation. Do yourself a favor and purchase some tarp to place underneath the slide/pool. This helps keep excessive grass/dirt from sticking to kids feet and entering the pool. It can also serve as extra cushioning. You can also purchase this thru Amazon as I did. (14×20 I believe is what I got.) I did notice that water was coming out the seams of the pool but that didn’t seem to affect anything as the pool remained inflated and the pool still held most of the water. Clean up was pretty easy as well. I deflated it and the water just spilled out. I managed to turn it over while still wet and then proceeded to wipe it down with towels- on both sides. Then I iflated again and let it dry off that way. You must take care and dry and put it away properly for it to last. This is my second inflatable. I purchased my first one last year and it’s still great- I just thought my kids would like a larger one. All in all I would recommend this pool. It’s worth the money when you see how happy it makes your children. Take care of it and you will get your moneys worth. If you DON’T understand that this needs to be plugged in at all times because it does require a compressor to run- then DO NOT buy it. If you don’t understand that this is a pool and will require a lot of water- then DO NOT buy it. I’m always amazed at the reviews I read where a person states that they didn’t know that it needs to plugged in at all times…. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Pros:I was actually really surprised at how well made it was. It was the same material as our bouncy house and comes with a powerful compressor. The slide is much larger in person than i expected from the pictures. The pool is huge. i had 6 kids from 2-12 in it and they had a blast! they were so worn out! the pool is big enough that they can play while the other kids slide. my 2 yrd old didnt have any problem climbing up at all. i can set it up by myself in under 3 minutes. Cons: price? i didnt pay anything close to what it is listed for here! but again, i got it used on CL. USE the stakes! especially around the ladder or if you have a heavier child (over 60lbs) it could tip a little.. but once the stakes were in there was no problem at all. i suggest laying a tarp under the ladder because the children have to get out and step on grass or mud and climb back up. the tarp fixed that. drainage was a bit of a problem for me. not enough that it would cause me not to use it, but i am required where i live, to deflate it and empty it every day, its a lot of water and i don’t have great drainage in my yard so it caused a muddy yard for a few days, also just getting the water out so it could dry was a bit of work. Just make sure you dry it completely before storing it or even letting it sit in a heap or it will get moldy! after (my husband) emptied it we blew it back up and left it to dry for a few hours then i wiped the underside with towels as he rolled (since the yard was wet) it still only took about 15 minutes to dry it completely and put it away. All of the cons are very small things to me as a trade off for the fun in the back yard. overall: amazing product, amazing memories– i can’t wait for another warm day! (and neither can the neighborhood kids). the squealing joy from my kids confirmed/ whatever the price… it was worth it for me. 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. |
