This C4U (a.k.a MHZ, Cube4U, Cube4You) 3X3X4 Speed Cube is a new twist to the usual C4U 3X3 cube series. C4U cubes are highly regarded by most cubers for their splendid capacity to cut corners. They likewise tend to pop less and have smoother turning than numerous other cubes. They are available in numerous dissimilar colors and have been benefitting in popularity not so long ago in spite of a great deal of reports hat the quality may deterorite over time. The usual consensus is that C4U cubes are one of the better cubes available on the market, and are commended for speedcubing

5A great addition to any Rubik’s Cube collection
By RG
I got one of these a while ago when you had to order them from overseas. C4U may not be a well-known name brand but their puzzles aren’t just cheap knockoffs. The 3x3x4 cube is a fully functional puzzle, unlike some other puzzles which just glue an extra “fixed” layer onto an existing 3×3 cube. The build quality is solid and it’s a good challenge for anyone who already knows how to solve a 3×3 cube. Because it’s not actually a cube you can’t do quarter turns (90 degrees) on the 3×4 sides. You have to do half turns (180 degrees). It’s a fun puzzle and I highly recommend it for anyone who enjoys Rubik-style puzzles.

5This Cube-I Mean Rectangular Prism- is Pretty Tricky
By Peyton
I thought this was gonna be easy, since I can solve a 3×3. I assumed I’d just have to do the step where you place the central edges twice, but I was way wrong. Pretty much any 3×3 algorithm you might use is useless here, since you can’t do quarter turns on the 3×4 sides. I tried for a long time, and got close, but couldn’t solve it. I found a solution on a webpage called “Jaaps Puzzle Page” (I’m not sure about the rules to linking here). And by the way, this is really easy to take apart. It’s also tensioned pretty perfectly on mine, but if yours isn’t, you can just pop off the center caps on the 3×3 sides, or on the 3×4 sides, there are hidden screws between the two centers. Bottom line, this is really challenging, and I think you should go for it and buy one.

5I love it although it’s driving me insane
By ifutureman
This is a must-have for anyone who owns and loves the Rubik’s cube and/or its variants. It is, however, an almost entirely different mechanism from cube-shaped puzzles; sadly, you can’t take this one apart so the only way to restore it to its original position is to actually solve it.

I had hoped that my familiarity with the original cube (which enabled me to solve the 4x4x4 and 5x5x5 versions) would give me any kind of insight into this rectangular solid version… alas, there is basically no connection. None of the cube-solving algorithms will be of any use here. I’ve only had it two days, but I’ve put in several hours and I’ve still gotten nowhere. I have to say the “solution” provided on the sides of the box is a joke. In an effort to cram the whole solution into a small space, the manufacturer offers a few vaguely defined algorithms that are pretty much worthless, as far as I’m concerned.

Despite my own frustration with this difficult puzzle, I still give it 5 stars. It’s an elegant, worthwhile addition to the family of Rubik’s-type puzzles. The construction (which involves some wire cables holding the pieces together) seems to be very solid; the stickers are of excellent quality – something I can’t say about the last couple of official Rubik’s Cubes I’ve bought, which had appallingly poor quality stickers. If i ever buy another Rubik’s-type puzzle, it will be from Cube 4 You, for sure.
